How can I make myself look young and beautiful?

· face,skincare,Skin

Everyone wants to look pretty and young forever. Unfortunately, no one has been able to reverse or stop the aging process but one can take steps to slow it down. Every single product that is sold to reverse aging is either a sham or a scam and you should save your hard earned money.

Most people have minor skin flaws on their face and they feel like the world is coming to an end. Whenever you deal with the face and beauty, the first thing you should never do is rush off to a plastic surgeon, skin doctor, beautician or a therapist-all these professionals are in the business of making money and will offer you some type of bogus treatment which will not only be expensive but is useless. These days whenever people have a minor flaw with their face, plastic surgeons are quick to recommend some type of face-lift surgery, Botox, chemical peel, laser or dermal filler. And more often than not, the person ends up with a complication that is often worse than the minor skin flaw.

The majority of people who want to maintain good aesthetics of the face should start the process of skin care at home. Here are some tips for facial skin care that won’t break the bank, are cheap and without complications.

Get some sleep. Way too many people nowadays just do not get adequate sleep. They often wake up in the morning looking tired, fatigued, and grumpy. Sleep is essential and one must get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night. During sleep, your body processes work to repair all the damage that occurs during the day.

Avoid applying every type of cream, lotion, potion, ointment and liquid on your face. The majority of skin care products contain many synthetic chemicals, which are more likely to irritate your skin. Do not believe for one second that these skin care products work- they only smell nice but do absolutely nothing for your skin.

If you have dry skin, then liberally use a moisturizer. It really does not matter which one you use. On the face, it is best to use a water based moisturizer so that one does not see the globs of oil that are common with oil based moisturizers. If you skin is oily, wash your skin with warm water and plain soap several times a day. The type of soap you use is irrelevant- the simpler bland soaps are just as effective as the expensive ones.

If you have acne, leave it alone. Pinching, squeezing, or rubbing it is not going to make it go away. Most simple acne disappears on its own. Most of the acne creams and lotions are scams. If you have real bad acne, see a skin doctor and ask for a retinoid product- these prescription vitamin A medications are effective for acne, get rid of oils from your face and make your skin look younger.
Wear a sunscreen. Most people still do not realize that sun is the number one factor that causes skin to age prematurely. If you do not want wrinkled parched skin by age 30, wear a sunscreen every time you go out. In addition, wear a long sleeve garment and a hat when you go out in the midday sun.

Quit smoking. Next to the sun, the most common cause of premature aging and wrinkles is tobacco. People who smoke develop wrinkles and an aged face in the fourth decade of life. Plus they have a foul breath and a bad body odor. The wrinkles caused by smoking are impossible to reverse even with Botox.

Maintain good skin hygiene – this means washing your face regularly and avoid too many chemicals on the skin. If you apply make up or mascara during the day, wash the face before bedtime.

Finally eat healthy and avoid too much sugar or processed foods. One of the best ways to look good is to exercise. By reducing your weight you not only reduce the risk of disease but it also improves your confidence and boosts your self-esteem. The type of exercise you do is not important as long as you remain active. Even walking is a great exercise- it is free, allows you to enjoy nature, relieves stress and is free of complications- unless you get hit by a bus while texting.
